Shelli Dame Photography bio picture
  • Welcome to Shelli Dame Photography

    I've always had a passion for art, but didn't discover the love affair with my camera until my sweet twin daughters were born. I couldn't get enough of capturing my daughter's lives through a lens. I can't describe my love for photography in any other way, except it makes me feel, alive. Photography isn't only my job, it is my passion. It is constantly on my mind to bring out fresh ideas into your sessions. It is beyond amazing to me, that I get to do what I love, and an even greater blessing to work with clients, whom I adore. I hope as you look through my site, that you find beauty, togetherness and individuality. I try and bring out these three things in all my sessions. Please feel free to leave a comment, and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks for visiting!

{Matt and Becky- Married!}

I’m so happy these two found each other.  They met online playing Halo of all places!  Matt is from Canada, and they made a long distance relationship work, they got engaged and had to get married (for immigration reasons) at the courthouse previously.  So this is their exchanging vows and celebrating their marriage the way that they had originally planned.  These two have so much love for on another and such a sweet chemistry.  Matt did all the carpentry work for the wedding himself, it added a beautiful rustic feel to the day.  Enjoy the details from their special day!

{Kiley and Bryce- Wedding Day}

Kiley and Bryce are such a sweet couple, both down to earth and easy to be with. Kiley made the most stunning bride, her practical yet elegant style shone through on her day.  I felt so lucky to cover their wedding, hanging out with the two of them was just so easy!  I thought their smore’s idea was pretty clever, too.  Enjoy my favorites from this fun wedding!

{Geilmann Family}

How can I describe how much I love my brother and his family?  I just really can’t.  They are the best people.  And I feel so lucky to have them in my life.  They both are amazing parents, and wonderful people.  Love them.  Love them.  Love them.

{Jen and Colin Wedding Day}

This wedding was so much fun!  Colin and Jen made sure everything was perfect, down to the very last detail.  This was my first time shooting at Pierpont Place, and I thought the venue was amazing.  Props to Devine Design for their lovely flowers, and Granite bakery who did their cake.

{Baby A and Baby B}

My first time photographing twins!  Well… I shouldn’t say that, since I have my own.  But, it was my first time photographing newborn twins, and whew it is so much harder than you would think!  These precious babies had been in the NICU for several weeks, so by the time I caught up with them, they were kind of out of the “sleepy” stage.  So it was very difficult to get them together.  I hope you enjoy these gems!
